The best career in the world

Hello again, bloggers!

Today I'm going to talk about the career I'm studying... and it's Public Management, in Universidad de Chile.

The choice of this career is really a mistery for me and for everyone who knows me, this because it was a day when I was searching for careers in internet and I founded this one. I researched a little bit of it, and I really love the idea of study it.

In this search I understood that mine was about helping people with more necessities and make a change in this country, even if it's slight. And it was too the reasoon because I chose this career. Because it will give me the resources to get my goals.

Before starting my university studies, I only knew that was an career that include abilities administrative, social, economic, legal and about government. I knew Public Management would give me a global understanding of the public issues.

At the beginning, Universidad de Chile wasn't my first option, even was never an option. I really never believed in my habilities, so I just considered to study in my city, Puerto Montt, in the Universidad Austral, because it was be to much easier to enter. But when I knew my results of the PSU with my mom, she told me that I have have to took advantage of this chance and postulate to the best university.



Now I can say that it was the best decision that I ever made in my life. In this university I feel like I'm in the best place for me to feel comfortable.

Until now, my favorite subject has been "Administración Pública y los Fenómenos Políticos" because I'm learning the relation between politic and the Public Administration and the bureaucrat's influence in the political process. The most thing I have learned up at this point is work in team.

A country I'd like to visit.

Hello everyone! In this first blog I'm going to talk you about a country that I wish visit... This country is Finland. This place is located in the North of Europe and is close to Sweden. I don't know too much about it, but when I think in this country I think in the snow and winter. Also, I have read in different articles that Finland is the happiest country in the world to live. There, I would like to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and get relax. Besides I would love to see the wonderful aurora borealis because it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. Also I want to go because it's called "Land of a Thousand lakes". Deep green forests, the rolling hills and the glittering lakes cover most of central Finland. I would like to work and live in Finland, even if I don't speak its language. The reason is that this place is away from bright lights and buildings. Maybe is a cold country, but is peaceful and agreeable live there.

Time to say goodbye.

Hi, bloggers! This is my last blog and that is the reason to talk about my experience with the english language. First of all, I have to say that, at the university, I have learn so much, specially with the writing. Also I have practiced the listening and reading skills.  About use the blogs, I think that it was a good experience because I never wrote a blog before, and I always wanted to do this. Writing the blogs I felt like a famous blogger, but with less comments hahah... because today, hardly anyone use these social network . Nevertheless, writing blogs I learned to write and think faster in English, and that is an important progress, and it helped me to get to correcting my grammar mistakes. Besides, I liked to know more about my classmates and commenting their blogs was so funny. I knew that some of them had things in common with me. On the other hand, I think that different aspects need to be improved in my English, because I have almost the same knowledge that...

Changes to my study programme.

Hello! Today I'm going to talk about the changes that could be made in study programme of Public Management. First of all, I could change some things of the curriculum. Although it was changes recently, I think it is empty yet. It don't have some important subjects, like to those cover gender perspective, probity, and handling emotions and stress. Also I think that the curriculum have subject that are repeated like bureaucracy and the vision and the mission of public services. Besides, the subjects of investigation methods aren't designed so good, I think that after study three of these subjects, I haven't learned too much. About workload and length of studies, in this university it could to worry more about the mental health, because nowadays I have seen a lot of stress people and almost everyone goes to the psychologist, and it is because of the workload.
